About

My journey with herbs began when I was suffering for years with multiple GI issues that medical doctors could not figure out, even with several diagnostic tests and medications. I was always tired and had migraine headaches several times a month. After hitting rock bottom and feeling like I was going to be sick for the rest of my life, I started to research herbs and their medicinal uses. A few weeks later I contacted an herbalist in the mid-west. With his help and guidance, I took herbs to heal and nourish my body and made a complete diet change. I gave up caffeine, white sugar/bread and red meat while adding lots of live, nutrient dense foods and clean water. I was able to get my health and life back after several months. There were lots of ups and downs where I would have good days and bad, but I understood it was part of the process. I also worked with a flower essence practitioner monthly to heal underlying emotional issues that I had no idea were so detrimental to my health. As time went on I was able to clearly see how the mind and body are truly connected.

I was so grateful to everyone who helped me heal myself that I wanted to do the same for others. I completed an herbal apprenticeship at the Boston School of Herbal Studies which included hands on work in making teas, tinctures, salves, oils, bath salts and flower essences. I am certified in Aromatherapy and work with essential oils on a daily basis for all sorts of ailments. I'm certified in Reiki level II and do healing work in person and at a distance. I incorporate the energies of herbs to enhance the healing experience.

I have always enjoyed being of service and helping people since I was a kid. When I was around 8, my mum had her first of several orthopedic surgeries. I would take care of her after each surgery and would always feel happy doing whatever I could to make her recovery easier. At this point in my life, I have come a long way in understanding health and the struggle it can be to get there. I'm grateful for my experiences in that I can share what I have learned with the world. I am always expanding my knowledge and learning new skills to better myself as a holistic health practitioner.
